MR-E-Super (Amp-Motor)

MR-E Super Servo Amplifiers & Motors – A Cost Effective, High Preformance & Easy to Use AC Servo Replacement for Stepper Systems.

The MR-E-Super series is perfect for low-end applications or replacement of stepper systems for simple machine tool equipment, packaging machines or general purpose machines. MR-E Super servo motors and amplifiers can be used in AC servo applications for position, speed, and torque control.

The MR-E Super series includes RS-232C serial communication functionality. Mitsubishi Electric’s PC-based servo set-up software, MR-Configurator, and a RS-232C serial communication link can be used to perform MR-E Super parameter setting, machine test operations like Jog mode, status display monitoring, gain adjustments, and more.

With sizes ranging from 100W to 2kW, the incorporation of a high resolution (131,072ppr) encoder and legendary auto-tuning and vibration suppression functions, the MR-E-Super series servo is a perfect solution for simple machines in cost-competitive situations.

High Performance:

  • Has a 500Hz analog frequency response, it accepts pulse commands up to 1000kHz and has high-accuracy positioning with a high resolution encoder at 131,072ppr.
  • Machine vibration can be easily suppressed with the advanced vibration suppression control.
  • With the use of MR-Configurator servo set up software, optimal tuning can be easily achieved.
  • Two types of interfaces are available, pulse-train for position and internal speed control and analog input for speed or torque control.

Q170MCPU_ThumbMitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of our Q170MCPU stand-alone motion controller. This new controller completely fills the need for a stand-alone unit with built in motion and logic control. The development concept is based on a compact unit with built in power supply, motion and logic control, Ethernet network, external encoder interface and high speed registration inputs enabling OEM’s to design a high-performance system in a more compact footprint.  The Q170MCPU also has the ability to be easily integrated into 3rd party control platforms by utilizing the built-in Ethernet network and auxiliary gateway modules such as the ETH-1000 Ethernet IP gateway.

The Q170MCPU has a very high performance motion CPU equivalent to our iQ Platform motion CPU the Q172D and can be connected to our MR-J3-B series servos over Mitsubishi Electric’s servo system control network (SSCNET III). In terms of programming software, MT-Developer2, MR-Configurator and GX-Developer2 may be used with the new motion controller. This allows programming of motion profiles by using sequential functional chart and mechanical editor language, the same as our traditional PLC-based motion controllers. The Q170MCPU shares a common programming language with the Q series, iQ platform and MR-MQ100 (1.5 axis controller) to ensure faster set up and easy programming.
